Palazzo Giureconsulti, in the heart of Milan, will host the SAMAB International Congress 2026 on May 28. The event will bring together institutions, companies, and professionals from across the fashion supply chain to analyze the role of emerging technologies in production processes and their impact on the industry’s evolution.
As part of the journey toward SAMAB – Fashion Technologies Event, the Congress represents a key opportunity to share insights and strengthen dialogue among industry stakeholders, while anticipating the main themes of the 2027 edition. Following the success of the first edition in 2025 -which attracted over 3,000 professionals, more than 70 exhibiting companies, and 21 international buyers from 25 countries -the May 28 appointment, confirms the exhibition’s growth ahead of its next edition, scheduled from May 25 to 27, 2027 at Fiera Milano Rho.
SAMAB – Fashion Technologies Event continues its development path with the goal of strengthening its international reach and expanding participation. The choice of Fiera Milano Rho reflects this direction, while maintaining the event’s identity, design quality, and stylistic coherence.
Organized by Senaf, in collaboration with Tecniche Nuove Group and with media partnership from Technofashion magazine, the Congress is held under the patronage of ANTIA – National Association of Technical Professionals in the Fashion System, Confindustria Moda – Textile and Fashion Federation, IACDE – International Association of Clothing Designers and Executives, and PwC Italy. This ecosystem highlights the importance of creating spaces where technology, expertise, and industrial vision converge to support the evolution of the sector.
The day will open with an institutional roundtable focused on internationalization policies and the promotion of Made in Italy, followed by an overview of global scenarios and trends presented by PwC Italy. The program will feature a central industrial roundtable addressing competitive challenges and development strategies, along with a session dedicated to technological innovation, focusing on Big Data, Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, and the integration of traditional and digital technologies in production processes.
In particular, the contribution of the BI-REX Competence Center will provide concrete examples of AI applications in production processes, from quality control to waste reduction and human-machine collaboration. The event will conclude with a networking session designed to foster new professional connections and collaboration opportunities among companies, stakeholders, and industry operators. With the SAMAB International Congress 2026, Milan once again confirms its role as a key meeting point for the fashion supply chain, in a journey that combines content, relationships, and strategic vision, guiding the sector toward the next exhibition edition.
